concentrate on road that lays ahead

Being a ground sign it’s always been interesting to me how the ‘earth’ and it’s low frequency hum always manages to tune me into it’s frequency. I feel like in recent days and weeks I might have been on free play a little, stepping through the days, waking up, another morning breakfast, some breads to roll fresh, memory making — the usual.

But just recently I’ve been having a compounding effect in this reality simulation we call life when it comes to being distracted from living the life instead of existing within it, it’s a line that is easy to cross without actually realising you are on the other side of it — I often call it the distraction economy, where everything seems to demand your time and if you walk blindly into it that time can seem so wasted.

I think all the bloody Brexit nonsense, climate news and just general bad bad around the world can really have the delicate earth connected soul of a person, it just get’s overloaded with things to be spinning around considering, you can get draw in like a magnetised element going around the topic faster and faster until it’s just a blur.

So then, I’m thankful for insight and foresight and the ability to stop, reposition and head in the other direction. Something I’m extremely fond of doing from time to time, like the scene in castaway at the end looking for signs and angel wings of a decision to take on a crossroads wondering where a road will lead.

And that’s ok.

Sometimes, you just have to pick a road, often less travelled and start walking it to see what it feels like before you realise that things don’t appear to be in alignment as you convinced yourself to be, that in fact, your energies are better used elsewhere, like a system reboot or a firmware update to use the features you already have in a better way.

Being comfortable with what you have and where you are in life is a testament to the journey that you put in place for yourself at some point in the past, you decided that you wanted to be in a place and here you are, you previously walked the road that brought you here so you can do it again, over and over, multiple routes, expansive roads.

I’m in the process today of refining the goals and what I want to achieve in a timely manner again — @steemcasting is exciting to me still and I want to pay the 1st place position for our logo and amend that a little, start building out the team for globally, we had someone add themselves to the map last night (so that’s awesome)

I’m just glad for the pause, life can be so much of just the linear, the humdrum, the regular, the same old same old that it’s a blessing when you get a reset signal down the wire — like hey, look at what’s on the docket and re-calibrate, I’m thankful for the opportunity to listen to that gut instinct and have such a clear relationship with listening too it.

like yesterday, we looked at a unit for making food in, really cool actually, reasonably priced and with the right care and attention, some raspberry pi units for growing (indoors) we could have a whole little ecosystem of things to be able to eat, sell and just generally tend too — if the bread making exercises have shown me anything it’s that early morning focus of applying yourself to something and rinse and repeat.

Ok, thanks universe for the wakeup call down the wire, resetting the eeprom of life and re-indexing the cards for speed, onwards and upwards and hey, sideways if you wanna.
